Squared is a fun word guessing game where players guess a 4-letter word. Players get hints through colors. These colors show if the letter is correct or in the right place.
When you start Squared, you see an alphabet below the empty boxes. You pick letters to fill in. In the first row, fill in all 4 letters to make a word. Press enter to see if your word is correct. If it’s correct, the word turns green; if a letter is in the word but in the wrong spot, it turns yellow; if a letter is not in the word at all, it turns gray. Use the colors to figure out the right word.

How to Play Squared
Here is some basic information regarding how to play the Squared are given.
Connect letters in all directions—up, down, left, right, and diagonally—to create words. Your goal is to find as many correct words as possible in the letter grid and score the highest points.
Rules of the Squared Game
You can earn 1 point for each letter in a guessed word correctly. For example, you will receive 5 points for a 5-letter word.
Words must contain at least 4 letters.
Each tile cannot be used more than one time in a word.
Words with hyphens, proper nouns, vulgarities, and especially rare words are not included in the main word list.
What are bonus words in Squared Game?
Bonus words, including obscure, old-fashioned, and slang terms, don't earn points but add to your bonus word list. You can keep looking for bonus words even after finding all the main ones and winning the game.
Each puzzle also includes a hidden Word of the Day. This word is long and interesting, and if you guess it, you'll get two extra hints.

In each game, you get 3 to 5 hints. The hints button looks like a lightbulb and is below the playing field. When you press it, you will see the first letter of a random word and the first direction to move to guess it. The number of hints you get depends on how hard the puzzle is. You can also get 1 extra hint if you share the game link with your friends. The share button is to the right of the hints button.
